| leobelchetz Audio Soul Project Dont Answer The Phone [Kill Brique]: Reaction: as reviewed for www.plasticsoup.com Chicagos Mazi (for ASP is he) never quite fitted with the bumping, funky sound of his city, always having a more tech-edged approach. Here he has embraced electro sounds to create a powerful peak-time cut, and whilst it is too brash for my tastes, this will unquestionably move tougher floors. Funk DVoids remix is more percussive and subtle than the original, but I must say comes as a slight disappointment following recent strong main room releases for Soma. And if youre an adventurous DJ who likes that hard farting bassline, then Duriez tool could prove handy. Mark: 5/10 |
